Hornby Railways Track Stencil r639-9140 New Old Stock r.639 - Damaged packet

Unused and sealed Track Stencil from Hornby.

R.639 Track Planning Stencil

(Scale 2mm. to 1 inch — aprox 1:1Z)

The Stencil is intended for use on lined paper and with a normal HB pencil. A fine biro pen or felt-tip may also be used if preferred.

Slots cut in the Stencil represent Hornby track elements and are marked to indicate which is which. Short cross cuts represent the joints between track elements. They are separated from the track slots to give the Stencil strength and gaps left after pencilling in can be filled when the whole layout has been drawn.

The centre of the Stencil contains an R.410 Turntable at one end and a crossover made up with curved points at the other. The opposite hand curved point crossover can be drawn by turning the stencil over.
