A beautiful oval hand painted lacquer box.
The design depicts a couple in traditional dress, in front of stylised foliage.
Finely painted with highlights in gold.
There are numbers and a signature that I am unable to read.
It opens to reveal a red lacquered interior.
In great condition, may benefit from a light careful clean and polish.
It measures ~5 x 6.5 x 3cm tall.
