A retro vintage ioniser by Medion.
It measures ~18.5 x 11 x 7 cm,
On the rear there is the mains inlet (UK 230v), fuse and ioniser earth, to the top is a three way rocker switch.
Undoing the thumb screw on the front removes the panel for battery access.
There is a metal label that reads :-

It takes 2 x 9V batteries.
It comes with the original mains lead, Ioniser earth rod and clip, glass neon indicator tube and spare fuse.
I've plugged it in and it ionises and the neon tube thing glows.
